Haltech?

Haltech is a universal standalone by itself. Haltech makes a patch and play harness that allows the Haltech to completely replace the OEM ecu. This eliminates the OBD-2 functionality of the car, but the harness is plug and play so you can go back to the OEM ecu within minutes. With the patch and play harness you can directly compare it to AEM EMS plug and play. The idea is the same.
We are going to shortly release harnesses that allow both the sprint 500 and sport 1000 haltech boxes to be placed in parallel with the OEM ecu. This will allow the Haltech to directly control the fuel injectors, coils, vtec, radiator fan, boost solenoid, etc and leave the OEM ecu in place to control the dash functionality, OBD-2/Emissions, idle control, a/c, etc. It gives the best of both worlds. This bridges the gap between Kpro and doing a standalone. Pricing will be much less than Kpro as well, and will all be 100% plug and play so no additional labor/time for installing/wiring all the additional OEM components like Kpro.

I know in Georgia, there's some kind of "random" in-depth test....allegedly the test can take up to 30 minutes. I can't remember the specifics involved...but for cars that are heavily tuned, it may result in them failing. Otherwise it's just a quick plug up, and "are readiness codes there? is there a cat? is the check engine light on?" test.
I'm kinda interested in this haltech setup if it's going to maintain readiness codes and the such...and you're saying it can utilize the full range of the factory sensors?
