Default Initial Hondata Tune

While I wait for Greg G. to get thru his Email down to mine is there a "first tune" I can try before Greg does his magic? Just to get a feel of how or what this device does?

K&N FIPK
Berk 63mm High Flow Cat
Invidia Q300 dual exhaust.

I've not yet coupled the Hondata to the car, just opened the box.

Yupp there is a BASE tune that you can download automatically through the startup screens for the S to be able to allow you to drive/start the car. It runs rich but it's ok just stay out of VTEC.

Looks like you could use the toda map and just adjust the fuel.

Thanks, guys.

My issue is I don't want to adjust anything myself. I don't have the skills. Greg has responded and I'll just start the process Saturday morning and skip playing with the Hondata.

I can't figure how to get the diagnostic calibrations Greg sent into the Flashpro. They don't show on the menu of those available. Any hints?

I did figure out the datalog, but Flashpro can't "find" Gregs's calibrations even though they're in the same folder as those Honda furnished.

Links or suggestions appreciated!

id swap to a 70mm HFC to mate with the 70mm exhaust... the generic tunes online are a starting point, i wouldnt run them for long. I ran the TODA tune just for datalogging purposes and it wasnt good for the car. showed detonation up top... just wait for Gernby if you dont know how to adjust the maps. itll be worth it trust me.

I have Greg's seven (7) diagnostic calibrations that he sent. Problem is I can't load any of them into FlashPro so the device can program the ECU. They're on my computer in the same folder as the calibrations Hondata sent but my software doesn't show them on the list.

hmmmmm...not sure why that is. i believe for mine i had calibrations on the computer and loaded them to the ECU via flashpro in the car directly from laptop. the datalogs were what saved on the flashpro.

I am guessing you figured it out by now, but you need to go to Open Calibration instead of New Calibration.
