For sure, I was making an observation. I'm actually surprised that since all vehicles come with an OBD2 port that there isn't a universal device that could connect to all vehicles. Could be like the tactrix cable, but then use different software to support the dongle. That way the dongle could be cheap and universal and a person would only have to purchase the software that supports whatever vehicle they are tuning.

true, BUT I'm sure the is a way to make a better 'AEM F/IC' type of device. either way, I already have kpro so I'm done with ems, but for the future i would be nice to see for the 00-05 owners as there are more of them...

Can the 00-05 guys whine about the inability to reflash their ECU in some other thread?

This thread is to compare KTuner to Hondata and why one should buy it over Hondata.

Thanks.

I own and currently use Hondata. There isn't anyone whining about inability to re-flash their ECU, people are pointing out what is very clear about KTuner in the s2000 market. It's not worth getting if it doesn't out perform(or cost less without limiting performance) the Hondata unit. Major set-back for Hondata is that it doesn't have Flex-fuel...yet one day lol...Not to mention there are more tuners for Hondata than their are for Ktuner. All of this equals a targeted small market...https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/102...r-coming-soon/ here's a thread from way back, when I heard about this option. PM the OP of the linked thread to check on his progress with using ktuner, to this date he is the only one I know that experimented with it on the s2000 platform, however, i feel if it had been overly successful we would have seen a 'jump for joy' thread by now...
