I wouldn't mess with 100 octane at all unless you plan on creating a 100 octane calibration, and ONLY use it with 100 octane.

If you are going to tune using the AF value, then it may help if you go to Options -> Settings -> Lambda Overlay -> Open Loop, and change the selection to "Stock Sensor", and change the Low / Medium / High Load targets to what you want so that the suggested fuel changes are more accurate.

just tune the fuel using af corrected. Hondata has done a lot of research and they have a reason why af corrected exists (compared to other aftermarket wideband o2 sensors)

i was tuning with the a/f corrected however read this thread:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=759501

and read that blacktrax saw the a/f reading off of what the stock wideband was reading.

"Fpro A/F: 13.0
Fpro A/F Corrected: 14.6
Motec PLM @ tail pipe 14.0

Car was tuned off the OEM O2."

I finally installed my LM-1, and have confirmed that the AF Corrected value is far from correct.

good job gernby and thanks for letting me peak at your map. Your ignition looks so much clean than the stock calibration.

I was looking at the ign tables and some of the lines intercept each other...is that a big no no? or was that on the a/f?

i was able to play around with the flashpro today. I dropped my vtec window to 5300 - 6100. I don't really feel the kick at all. All I hear is the change in the intake sound. Did some minor tune. Its nice when you have a flat a/f line so that you can increase the entire map up and down more easily. I have my car tune at 13.0 +/- .2 to have some room to play.

Seeing that the a/f reads about .2 - .3 higher than the A/F

my next goal is to reindex the RPM so it allows me to adjust it more finer. That dip at 4800 is hard to tune because of the RPM index of between 4300 and 5000. That dip goes down to 12.2 which I would like to take out fuel and bring it up to the rest of the a/f curve at around 13.

And also the 5100 RPM has that 13.6 a/f which I would like to add fuel to make it even at around 13.0 a/f.

So much to learn thanks gernby for your suggestions

My "high speed" ignition tables are VERY VERY generic and flat. I'm just slowly advancing them at 0.5 degrees at a time to see if they start knocking somewhere. When they start knocking, I'll first try retarding just the cylinder that knocked, then I'll start retarding timing for that RPM across the board. I don't believe the fuel OR timing maps should ever cross.

You're certainly welcome! Now that I've installed the latest version of FlashPro Manager, I've found that I'm having to almost start over on my calibration. Even with the same exact calibration loaded with the new version of software and firmware, my tune is totally screwed! It went from a very, very flat WOT tune with very small STFT's at part throttle to a stair step from very lean to very rich at VTEC.

I wish Hondata would hire a professional tester.
