Wow I read all 6 pages, quite a read, hope you guys can answer some simple questions... I'm picking up a used Kpro, going from haltech tuned by evans. (just want the ease of kpro) is there a revision of the KPRo i dont want to get? I'm pretty much tuning on bolt ons, no FI. And I already have an aem wideband gauge hooked up to my Js header secondary bung. I'm really confused here, since I have Aem gauge already what's the best set up for me? Leave it plugged into the header via o2 sensor, or plug it directly into kpro when I install it, or is it most beneficial to run the stock rsx wideband? Im not to keen on this stuff, tried to understand the benefits in this thread but haven't really seen any solid advice...

Just tie your AEM wideband into the kpro via the ELD. You won't have the benefits that using the rsx wideband allows, but you won't destroy your new (to you) kpro ecu.

Yeah after reading the whole thread I'll probably stay away from the rsx wideband. However would there be any benefit to plugging the aem gauge into the kpro as opposing to leaving it plugged into the censor? I figure I ran all that wiring why not keep it plugged in. Apologize for my noobness in this topic in advance

If you don't want to datalog with it, then don't tie it in.

I ended up using about 7 feet of 18 gauge wire (got this from radio shack) (7 feet is the length from the end of the sensor, to the ecu, comfortably, so really you need about 4x 7 foot pieces of wire, plus the wire you will need for the relay n what not)
Since I have Kpro, I routed my OEM primary o2 sensor, to where the secondary was (in the cat/testpipe).
So my primary is now in the test pipe, still wired up (incase i need to go back to a pra map for something).
The RSX wideband is now where the primary used to be, at the bottom of the header.
I ran the harness over the transmission, and up by the throttle cables, there is a little hole in the fire wall plugged w. a little plastic clip, just above where the throttle cables come through the firewall. Pops open pretty easily. I used 18 gauge wire, in wire loom from Walmart (6ft of it) and then electric tape over it all. It looks OEM, and the thickness was just enough to make it through the fire wall. Everything is zipped tied as well. Going to connect the pins to the ECU tomorrow. Will update then.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Here is a picture of the D8 pin jumped to A1.
Special thank to my brother, he is the one that soldered all my connections.

How would you wire in the AEM Failsafe to KPRO to use lean cut? What you want to cut in the event of a lean condition?

^^ If you are scared of frying up your kpro board, I have a spare kpro ecu I'm selling that doesn't come with the kpro board itself.
