Also consider you have a F22 which Honda lowerd the redline on for more reasons than they thought no one liked the extra 1000rpms. The sweep on the crank is longer as are the rods which makes the angle they connect at the pistons more. This equals more diaginal force on the pistons which is bad for high revs.

It's more force on the X direction of the rods not the piston. The rods that get the stress while pistons receive the brute of the friction.

In a word, NO!

At least not by the standards of this forum. Some have got reasonable gains but have spent a fortune and have a non-streetable motor. But even these don't compare to FI.

I have stock cams and the power is still climbing at the 9000 rpm cut. But I have no desire to raise the rev limit any higher. If I want more power, I'll increase the boost.

Ya but fred, that was turbo'ed. I had the same thing going as well until 9500. On the N/A cars they just fall off.
