S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

1lb of boost = how much HP?

yah, I don't think its really worth it to get a Boost controller, I would not want to go above 9 anyway
I run mine at 9.7 psi. I haven't seen any spiking, but lets face it 10psi and under is really not much boost to worry about.
Keep in mind that the pressure number is an indirect indicator of the volume actually making it into the combustion chamber. Compare what gets into the chamber from a GT3076 @ 7psi vs. T518Z @ 7psi - completely different.
The AEM Tru Boost is nice because you just push the right button and it shows you peak boost you just pulled. You can have 2 boost settings in it, or just turn it off if you want to run off the WG spring alone.

Also, a headgasket only costs $295.

I think what I said was clear. It depends on the base line and other factors. It is only an optimistic rough guide line.

ATO, I was seeing 360 rwhp at 7 psi with the high flowing Alaniz head, 16+ rwhp per psi.
Don't make me jealous Sideways! I need your checkbook! I could probably do it then, not as good as you of course.

I rather idolize your and JohnZ's work though.
