ah, just wondering, so when they blow out are they actually tearing at some point or is the head just lifting ?
The oem gaskets has three layers just as our 3mm gaskets.

When they blow, the gasket layers burn/blow.

Hey, just wondering what the highest amount of boost I can safely run on my Greddy Kit with the stock H/G and a good tune?

It depends on how good your tuner is. Some tuners have taken cars up to 14psi on stock headgasket. I had mine do 8psi just to be sure on ip kit.

is it worth getting a Boost Controller then if thats around what the PSI is already on the Greddy Kit, or is it lower then 8psi?

7psi is probably stock on the greddy kit. Any higher then that and you will need to get a boost controller as you cant just change the spring on the greddy internal wastegate.

hm I wonder if after a Test Pipe the Boost would drop a little. Just wondering if buying a Boost controller is worth it, if 8psi is the safest/highest PSI I can go on a stock HG, I was thinking maybe 9 with a good tune, I would imagine 7PSI to 9PSI is a fairly good amount ot HP?

There are a lot of HG failures.

It doesnt make sense to me to use the thicker HG, All that work, and extra money, lower performance, and still a risk of the thicker HG failing.

Spend the extra money on a good tuner.
