No clutch switch is needed.
Run the 2 step rev limiter wizard- if you're not running the latest version of the software, consider upgrading. Many new features have been added including this one. I can tell you how to do it on the earlier ones also though. Play with the settings from soft to hard cut. Pick the one that works best for you.
Make the settings in the 2 step rev limiter options:
Switch is always on
2 step fuel cut - set this a few hundred RPM higher than you would like the 2 step to be set
2 step ignition cut - set this where you would like the 2 step to be set (max)
2 step ok below VSS - 7-10 mph will work
2 step retard rev - start this where you would like the computer to begin retarding timing
If you have any questions, the AEM help in AEM Pro has a great document on the 2 step rev limiter. I'll also try to help however I can.

thanks again tim it's nice to have someone like you always trying to help, but i tried it yesterday and it didn't work that's why i was asking if i needed a clutch switch. but since i don't need a switch i just need to play a little more i had my setting like this:
Switch is always on
2 step fuel cut - 4500 rpm
2 step ok below VSS - 7-10 and even 100 lol
2 step retard rev - not sure where it was maybe 4000 rpm
maybe i have the wrong version

Sounds like fun! I love top mount S2000's. I'm glad to hear that you've got it running.
I'll check my map and see what settings I'm running. If I don't have it with me, I'll dump it from the car when I get back home Saturday. I got it to work, but did have a bit of difficulty at first and it's still not fine tuned. When I upgraded to the new software/firmware, it was setup, but didn't work until I redid all of the settings.
Good luck
Tim
