Your rev limiter should be based on your motor/head/cams/etc, not some arbitrary number. f20:9k, f22c:8200. Go from there.

I'm confused. My rev limiter settings are fuel cut 8800 and ignition cut 8700 rpm. My 2step is 4000rpm both of them. Are this settings ok or i have the make any corrections? My setup is novi 1000, 3.0 pulley, fmic and aem ems 1052u

Since you are SUPERCHARGED and not turbo'd, I would think that you would want your fuel cut before the ignition cut on both limiters. With the way you have it now, at 8700 rpm, you are shooting fuel in but not igniting it. I dont know who tuned you, maybe they did this for a reason. But I don't see why. Your 2 step seems fine; have you tried it out?

The only reason for you to have a 2 step would be to get a consistent launch. So, the only way to know what rpm to set it at is by trial and error. As far as the rev limiter, I wouldn't go past stock redline on a stock motor unless you are ready to pay for the consequences. Too high a redline can cause serious valvetrain problems eventually dropping a valve. If you have a built motor ask your tuner.

If i set the fuel cut before the ignition cut don't i built up heat in the motor?

About the 2step, you are right. I want it just for launch. I tried a couple of rev limits. I set it up according to the raod surface.

My stock redline rev limiter was 8900 since i have an ap1 v2. So i have a stock motor and when we installed the supercharger we set the rev limiter at 8700 rpm.

Im curious too. My ems rev limiter is also set ignition at 9100 and fuel at 9200. I have yet to test the 2step limiter but its set fuel 6500 ignition 6k, medium cut,

Had to go 7000rpm on the MT´s, tried 6000 but needed higher after a few burn outs.

If fuel cut is after ignition cut when 2 stepping it would be shooting them nuclear flames

None of that. I heard one user on here say over and over again that the springs are what could fail. Now I'd like to know if anyone has ever had that happen and after how long were they 2 stepping, how many cycles, years, etc?

Apparently turbocharged cars would have a higher risk of heat damage due to the exhaust manifold turbo setup. So the manifold itself is at risk not so much the exhaust side of the valve train...??
