You have the option of going with a 3rd party immobilser, however this will add to the cost. You may want to skip the EMS and go with a piggyback. We have a number of comptech/vortech systems running here on 93RON (DIN spec)/(89 AKI/US Pump) with piggyback systems.

EDIT : I do not particularly like "piggyback" systems although most of the times they get the job done so long as you do not push the envelope.

You could get a Wideband 02 sensor and use the AEM autotune feature. Its not the best but would be better than a base map designed around US fuel.
The base maps are not designed to be driven on permanently. If you can get hold of Dan Turner formally of Jakan Honda he should be able to tune the AEM unit for you.
Don't know if he's still on the board but the following link will take you to his profile

Another option is a Autronic http://www.autronic.com unit which has a fantastic autotune function but this will require a new wiring harness. Though not listed on there website there is now a unit available for the Honda which is fully VTec compatible.

The Motec M4 which can be purchased with the Honda Harness is another option. http://www.motec.com/products/kits/hondakit.htm Plenty of UK Motec tuners.

And still another option would be a Emerald ECU http://www.emeraldm3d.com Have a word with Dave Walker.
