I know the stock vortech comes with the "black box" but was wondering if an emanage or emanage ultimate would handle the tuning capabilities needed vs having to go the AEM route? Has anyone successfully done this with a comptech or vortech and 550 injectors? Can it be done? What are the pros and cons of each system etc. Looking to save money vs having to go the AEM route.

Does AEM route have trouble in some states passing emissions testing?

 

Although simple searching would yeild your answers I'll sum it up...

Considering your only going to be running 550cc injects, your not going for big power so the emanage or emanage ULT will work fine compared to the crappy black box / fpr that comes with the kit.

AEM EMS will not pass emissions as it disables the OBDII port.
