The screw on the top should adjust the pressure of the spring. Turning it into the body should increase the pressure on the spring. If that doesn't have any affect on the way the BOV operates, then something is definitly not right.

Ok, again this is just my experiance with the Greddy BOVs, but most of them are the same. The nut is just a lock nut. You need to turn the screw itself...if there is no way to do that, than I don't think the BOV can be adjusted. I know on the greddy that I had to use a hex wrench to turn the screw in and out.

Tigtening the screw for the spring doesnt do anything. The noise is normal. It will release air constantly at idle and cruising.
