Any flowbench data on a Portflow head?

FYI...parts should arrive at Laskey Racing on 4/20.
I hope you are paying for the flow data so we can see it. It's unfortunate you have to pay portflow extra for them to flow the head. Otherwise, you and they don't have a clue if the head flows better or not. Are you getting oversized stainless valves? New bronze guides? CCed chambers so you can determine you final compression ratio? Matched and ported intake manifold? I hope the portflow mystery head works out for you and you get a good one.

The guides on the S2000 head wear easily and should be replaced.

Thanks for the reminder!

I've sent an email to Earl. Nothing has been started yet...so it's not too late. Anything else??

I'll vouch for my friend Earl anyday of the week and trust him 100%. He has no reason to fabricate the truth and if he makes a statement it's based on fact.

I just sent my spare engine off to Laskey Racing (Earl) for a build-up. Will be doing a stage three build on the head. Sometime later this year or early next year I'll do a dyno run on my current engine, swap engines, and do another dyno with the new engine. Any difference will be mostly in the head as the blocks are about the same.

Fred, would you consider having them flow the head? They want a little fee to do it.

I'll give Earl a call and see how much they want.
