hey jzz30 what sleeves are you running? im running the dartons. im getting mixed answers, wouldnt a copper headgasket defeat the purpose of the copper o-rings?
AEBS sleeves. i got the block used. it was originaly slow's block. i think it has stainless o-rings. but i was worried about the issue and i talked to the guys at the machine shop and they told me under .012" a regular HG can be used. maybe i should PM slow and ask what he was using.

so yea the machine shop was right. if the o-ring exceeds .012" from the deck height then you need a copper HG. my o-rings do not so i can use a stock HG and slow has confirmed that the block i have was set up to use the stock HG. also your copper o-rings will need to be changed everytime you remove the head.
