S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Anyone get cold feet before install/tune?

Well, I'm sorry if my post seemed negative because it certainly wasn't my intention. You never mentioned that you didn't have the time because of your busy schedule in school and work. But if you did have the time, why pay someone else to do the work that you are surely capable of doing. If you can do a differential swap, you are certainly capable of doing pretty much any other work on your car. Just think of it, you pay someone $2000 or whatever to work on your car when you can take that same $2000 to buy the Helms Manual and the necessary tools and do the work yourself. And when you are finished, you have a nice tool chest full of neat tools to serve you a lifetime, you have pride in workmanship, and you probably have $500 left over to spend on a few girlfriends and who knows what pleasure that may bring.

ARP headstuds.

First HG was cometic in stock thickness. (I have 8:75 Compression)

Second is OEM, new one on the car is OEM as well. (waiting for Temp gauge before I turn it over)

I am really not sure what blew the HG first time. I did have a problem with the first tune. (It has been settled between parties involved).
Am having it tuned when everyone is ready to hit the dyno. (they are at the dragon and waiting on FedEx)

So with a spoon therm and fan switch, oil cooler, and Temp gauge I will be able to monitor everything. ( I will have 5 gauges placed everywhere)
The cometic HG in OEM thickness is faulty which explains your first blown HG. I have the same problem. It sucks because to change the HG is such a bitch. I wish cometic would do something about this. I haven't heard of any success stories with the cometic HG in stok thickness.

I have heard that too, after I blew the first cometic.

No worries, I maybe I was just reading into it wrong.

I guess I should have specified my schedule I thought about trying to install it for awhile but warm weather was approacing and I was scared that it'd take me too long. I didn't think about the tool thing - I really do need to build up my collection some.

Thinking back, the diff swaps I did were very rewarding. Maybe I'll learn a thing or two from the added maintenance that I'll need to be doing. I want to check my head studs after a few heat cycles after the install is finished and make sure the torque specs are still in range. Maybe I'll attempt that myself

I just need to remove the valve cover and cams and stuff right?

Raven, I'm going to call my installer later tonight. He has the day off tomorrow and he said he was going to work on my car all day and try and get it finished. Let's hope If so, I may try and tune on Wednesday
