Default Anyone using holset turbos?

I can get an hx35 for a decent deal and have used the h1c on b series builds in the past, but is anyone making decent power on the hx35 or hx40's?

Huge following on those turbo's from the E30 BMW crowd. They are typically found on just about every Dodge diesel you find. They are notorious for being HUGE.

They from dodge diesels and they are cheap, 99-02 dodges came with hx35's and they are being used on b and k series motors all the time. I figured someone would have put one on an s2000 by now.

The problem with Holset's, is they have funny bolt patterns usually. That and as stated before, they are massive turbos. Even the HX and HY35's are huge.

based on their website it looks like they are geared more towards larger engines. They dont seem to provide a whole lot of power compared with the physical size of them.

For instance, here is a HX60 which has an output range of 320-600hp Which a sc61 or gt35 can produce. Here is the physical size of the hx60:

Where will you put that on a s2000?

Weirtech makes flanges for them. They're used all over.

An hx 60 is a huge turbo, mainly ment for semi trucks. I'm talking hx35's and 40's. I was just wondering if anyone has used one. I just scored a gt35 with a 1.06ar for cheap so thats going on my 07. Twin scroll t4 flange. Just need to buy one more wastegate and an intercooler and I will start building the manifold and post it all up.
