if your harness said ap2, then check your emanage to see if it says ap2 also. if it does, you received the wrong box. The box that it shipped in probably says ap2 as well.

It's as simple as changing one wire though, and uploading a new basemap, so don't worry too much! Just be careful driving. Contact me monday and i can give you instructions on what to change, as well as email you the correct basemap.

The box (the big shipping boxes) did definetely say AP1. Also, all the hardware fit and seems to be correct. I believe the intercooler on ap1s vs ap2s is different (the tabs are in a different spot. In an Ap2, it mounts up to replace that black bar, the ap1 doesnt have that.

Well, checked the emanage, and it does indeed have a sticker on it that says US-AP1. Back to square 1.

Also, I do smell gas coming through my vents. I checked 5 times for leaks at the rail and at the pump, and I don't see anything. Not even a drop of moisture. Could it be remnants from the install??? How long should I give it before I start shitting bricks?

the hardware is the same between the two kits besides the plug and play harness and the emanage basemap.

your emanage says ap1, does your harness say ap1 as well? if so then you are ok.

fuel smell should burn off relatively fast. if you still smell it after a couple days of driving, check your work again!

No problem. Again, appreciate all the help Chris.

A few more notes.

Car runs great. Pulls in any gear, passing in 6th is now a reality!

1)The "gas" smell is only present when I boost a little bit. I have the vents on so I can tell when it arrives, and it definetely is coming from the front. I checked the injectors, FPR, and the rail 10 times now, there is not an ounce of fuel that leaked out. I think/hope it's the remnants of the install when we de-pressurized the system. Could it be possible since the kit is running rich at boost, that the unburnt fuel is what's causing the smell?

2)The car has no hiccups, no backfires, no studders, nothing.

3)The boost at WOT (until about 7000, I didn't redline it) is welded at 8.5ish).

4)There are no rattles, squeeks, burps or anything from any of the parts.

5)The approximate AFRs (the AEM UEGO bounces around too much to get a 100% steady reading) are....

Cold Idle: 14.5
Warm Idle: 14.8-15.5
Crusing in 6th at 55mph: 15.5ish (kisses 16.1 from time to time)
Boosting 1/2 throttle: 12.X to about 13.5ish
Full boost: 10.5
Partial boost then completely off the throttle:16.5-17.X (sometimes goes off the scale and I get the "- - -" on the display. (I believe it runs that lean because the s2000 turns off injectors when rolling in gear but no throttle is applied)

How do those numbers look?

The Berk pipe is 63.5mm (2.5") and my HKS exhaust is 60mm. I *think* this setup is fairly safe to run on a stock (base) tune. Yes, a test pipe is a test pipe, but I don't think 60mm of flow is enough to give me any noticeable spiking. The only other mods I did to the kit is a BOV, a K&N filter, different silicone hose/couplers, krank vents, and better clamps. Other than that, nothing. Since the down pipe is 60mm in diameter, I guess it's as optimal as I am going to get.
