Actually you run leaner on cooler days and richer on warmer days so if anything you would be more safe on a warm day.

Also high 11's to very low 12's is nothing dangerous

I'm also still not convinced you ever had predetonation because if you did your engine would have been long gone by now
is there any link you can proof this? sorry i don't mean the bad way, it's just something i never knew before, pretty cool info.

Basically, the colder the air, the more dense it is. So you have more o2 per square inch. With a MAP setup, the fuel is metered via a pressure sensor, not flow like a MAF. So if your tune isn't absolutely perfect (ie. your IAT compensation map doesn't compensate by adding fuel) there is more oxygen in the cylinders, but the fuel is metered for when it was tuned (possibly a hot summer day). This means that there is less fuel for the oxygen during the combustion reaction which increases the a/f ratio, making it run 'leaner'.

Ya know I have to say the greatest gauge in the world is an A/F gauge. I can not believe I went so long with out it. I dont ever see anything higher then 11.6, 11.7 WOT even when its 24F outside.

Only thing I have to figure out is how to prevent the METH from shooting everywhere, I dunno maybe put a sock on my BOV
