All, it’s been a rough journey but I’m happy to close the loop on this and say it’s been a successful one.

I put a little over 200 miles on the new inline pro motor, this time with CP pistons and inline pro rods bored to 87.5mm.

Yesterday the car got fully tuned and put down 466whp 295tq on Evans dyno.

The car runs like a dream and pulls much much harder than before. I now have traction problems in 3rd gear - didn’t used to be an issue.

thanks all for your insight through all of this!

That's why you NEVER EVER just slap a tune in from a old engine, someone elses engine with same mods, etc, TOOOO many factors, you MUST datalog and get a new tune for every motor.

14.5-15psi. Evans said typical setups like mine usually put down 430-440 on his dyno. Chalked up the extra power to the slightly higher compression motor due to aftermarket piston and decking.

Yep that makes sense. Nice output for the boost.

Jeff built my old Turbo S2000 way back in the day. Started as an Inline Pro kit that he tweaked. Car was simply amazing, I often regret selling. I can only imagine what 440 whp must be like, nuts
