What fans are you using? I need to get something for my car. I'm still stock fans and radiator.

Whatever came on the fullblown radiator. I'm thinking I should order the misimoto fan shroud and new fans but part of my just wants to get a badass dual pass radiator with built in oil cooler $$$$$$$$$$

There was s used PWR radiator in the FS section. Don't know if it's still for sale or not. I need a slim fan to fit my radiator due to the location of my turbo. But not sure what to get.

I wanted to run one of these, more specifically the dual pass one maybe even with the built in oil cooler. I believe RAINH8R runs this radiator.

The problem is getting cool ambient temp air around my FMIC to hit the radiator. It is a steep price to pay but I am not ok with my car sitting at 205 degrees from just driving at 60mph. I have no idea what my oil temps are looking like, but I know that they will all rise if I were to put the stock hood back on

I bought a "cheap" double pass radiator but haven't put it on yet. I also picked up a large fan (18") from a mid 90s thunderbird ( couldn't find a mark viii or 3.8 Taurus fan).

The contour fans (2x12 I think) are rumored to be decent fans as well. Just by looking at the front of these cars, they have to have a powerful fan(s) to get any air through the front of the car.

But yeah my fans are on any time above 198, so they are pretty much on all the time on the highway when it's 80+ out.

Can you link me to thee radiator you picked up? I think the key to proper cooling here is the dual pass

I use to have your same exact problem. The intercooler blocks all the air to the radiator. The faster you drive the hotter the coolant temps get. Under 80 degree wether the car was fine. But above 80-90 degree wether and cruzing on the freeway with ac blasting my car use to get to over 220 coolest temps. The radiator is getting no air flow. I solved this problem by running 2 of the spal 12 inch extreme performance fans. I have had/owned and used every fan on the market. Do not waist you time with any slim fans such ass the mishimoto slim fans with the shroud or the spal medium or low profile fans. They all suck and flow about the same as stock. Only the spal high performance and extreme performance fans flow a lot more than stock and they will create enough airflow for the radiator when moving at high speeds to control the coolant temps.

Second option would be to try the dual pass radiator. I'm sure that will also help.

I will probably do both the extreme performance fans and the dual pass radiator. Even though I like them, I may also ditch the fog lights and run bumper ducts to get sir around the intercooler to the radiator, it will be a tight squeeze with the intercooler pipes there

Still running AC? Push fans on the front of the radiator?

A/C is still in place but is never on nor has it been charged on a while (since I relocated for lines on the passenger side)
