I will add something to this thread, which I guess will disagree with what Joey is saying, but here goes...
There is always something faster than you. You can have a 500hp s2000, and still get RAPED by a Z06 with a few little bolt ons.
Just like in the jungle, you have to know where you stand, and face it, the s2000 is NOT the fastest car in the world, and you'll never make one that is.
You will still get smoked by Supras, vettes, vipers, etc, so there is almost no point. When I get my S5, I might slap a twin turbo on it...then, someone with a 600hp s2000 might lose to me, and think "oh, 600hp isn't enough."
Maybe it's because I'm a bit older, maybe it's because I spend a lot of time on exotic car forums, but I've learned that speed, after a point, just doesn't matter.
Learn to enjoy the car for what it is. When I was going for my tune, I left NYC at 6am, and drove top down, at 65mph on cruise up to NH. Not one car on the road, music blasting, wind in your face...it was great. Enjoy the car for what it is, not what it could be. The s2000 will never be a 911TT killer, so there is no point of wasting money trying to do it.

I dont know, but I saw this coming.... Either you put it, or I would have And I am pretty sure that a 500whp or even a 400whp s2000 will beat a 911TT and LMAO @

You guys are sadly mistaken, AND assume the 911TTs stay stock. Horsepower are not created equal.
I used to have a gti vr6 turbo that weighed about the same as the s2k.
It made 320whp off the WG spring (11psi). And 400whp on 20psi.
I never drove it around on anything but 11psi. I used the higher boost just to beat the occasional car that thought I was just a ricer with some nice wheels.
My point is, its nice to have the option to make 400whp+, but 300whp is all I really need for a daily. As long as the car is under 3000lbs. Maybe the problem is that my 300whp car made 300tq as well, and tq makes cars feel faster than they really are.
