You guys are sadly mistaken, AND assume the 911TTs stay stock. Horsepower are not created equal.
myself and other friends have raced 996TT's and 996TTS's and have done very well against them. I don't even make 500whp and was able to put a car on a chipped and intake'd 996TT (making 500 horses) in 3 gears on the highway. I was able to put more cars on a 996TTs with the K24's, but i was guessing from the results that he was stock. No doubt there is always someone faster, that has more money, or who is willing to do more to their cars, but it doesn't mean that the s2000 platform can't put a smack down on ALOT of cars.

If you put a turbo on an S2000, will that make it so that it becomes difficult to deal with/drive on a daily basis? I mean, not that you start getting frustrated with the power (which would be stupid of anyone), but that you can't drive it all the time because it can ruin the engine.
Does anyone drive their turbo'd S as a DD?

i have almost 50k miles on my turbo setup. Same motor, compression has stayed the same since the beginning. Not to say i haven't had any issues, but i have DD my car for almost 2 years now!
