Definitely. I actually like the look of everything in its factory location simply with a clean and sparkly engine bay. Not really into tucking and hiding various parts.

Next time you suspect a wire being bad just turn your meter to Ohms and put a lead at each end. If the resistance is any kind of high, the wire is bad

I think that's what I'll do. I currently have 2 8 gauge wires on possitive and 2 8 gauge negative. The 0 gauge wires are expensive lol. I'll just switch it up and use 4 8 gauge wires on positive (cuz it's already there installed). and buy a short 0 gauge for the negative and ground it to the trunk sanding down the contact point of course.

While I normally try not to look at autozone, let alone go in one, I will say he was right. Not sure about being purchased by who, but the past two I had were crap. Both lasted a couple of years. For reference, the stock battery one of them replaced lasted 10 years of MN winters before it died. I have moved to other brands. Will never waste money on another Optima. I think they used to be great, but now are no better than a cheapo brand, but cost way more. I have Bosch in two vehicles now ... but have not had them long enough to say if they are better.

Thanks. Um 51? I'm not familiar with that numbering. I'll have to look it up because locally we get 3 digit battery codes far as I know lol
