Bigger battery for forced induction?

Definitely. I actually like the look of everything in its factory location simply with a clean and sparkly engine bay. Not really into tucking and hiding various parts.

Although I agree with you, that wasnt my case. the wire itself went bad somehow, looked 100%. Thats what took weeks to diagnose. when i say instantly grounded new wire, all power came back. tried old wire, dead as nuts. something inside it went to shit or disconnected under the casing. would never be able to tell visuallly

Its not the battery its the relocation that is killing you. When you relocate a battery to the trunk most use too small of wire running to the front and the wire quality is usually crap which only exaggerates the problem now that you have added a ton of length. Next thing is as others have stated above that grounding to several points in the trunk is a must.

While I normally try not to look at autozone, let alone go in one, I will say he was right. Not sure about being purchased by who, but the past two I had were crap. Both lasted a couple of years. For reference, the stock battery one of them replaced lasted 10 years of MN winters before it died. I have moved to other brands. Will never waste money on another Optima. I think they used to be great, but now are no better than a cheapo brand, but cost way more. I have Bosch in two vehicles now ... but have not had them long enough to say if they are better.
