pretty sure the stroker kits are high compression though and not designed for boost. i could be wrong though.

Yeah I looked at the stroker setup that they are running on the race car. I just keep looking back at robs turbo setup and that's good power with a stock block but in my mind it's like running on a time bomb! I want to build something that I know I can push hard and it will take the abuse. I was going to take a ride to inline today to check out my options but the snow kindof put a damper on that.
i talked with jeremy allen and he claims the 100 mm stroker is what they are running on the street and does exceptionally well!So as of now the decision of building a stroker or not is on hold. Im going to have to research the stroker a little more! once i decide, IP is definately going to be the shop i will go with. From neeman77's thread the built block looks top notch, so ill see how his setup turns out!
I have personally seen jeremy allen do some engine work on a friends motor in his racecar when i made a trip to inlinepro with him one day. He is very anal and will really take his time to get it perfect. They stand behind thier work as a shop as whole as well. Going with InlinePRO will not be a bad route to go you couldnt be in better hands.
As for the stroker I think it would be sick but I wouldnt say its realistic to spend that kind of money on a street car. The f22 crank gives you plenty and doesnt really cost much more. If you have the money for the stroker then by all means go for it. I would use the money elsewhere personally. Im not sure what you have as far as a trans or rear end but I would use the money saved on the stroker for one or both of those.
When i was at the 700+ whp range my trans simply didnt want to go into gear. It was a brand new 08 trans with 3k miles on it too. I babied it on a stock diff too.
hope this helps.

I plan on doing it right from the start! te build isn't coming together as fast as some, hell it hasn't even started yet! Still planning out my options. I know i have weak spots(tranny and rear)with the S, but inline offers the rear kit along with buying the R200 separate. Also the tranny is still up in the air, maybe PPG.
For the stroker, yes its expensive and i have been waiting for some of the more experienced people to chime in on it. I like the high revving ability of the F20 and there has alwas been the deal with having no replacement for displacement! Atleast until Boost came along. High horsepower is my goal but if I cant use it then it wont be worth a shit to me!
On the other hand maybe you're right the price difference from the stroker to the built stock stroke F20 is pretty big! Big enough to where i could almost afford my diff setup from IP. Did you have a twin disc setup when you were in the 700s?
