Block guard is not a cooling mod though.

I would never put one on a daily driven.

Um, duh?! Not to be a jerk, but don't bother to post the obvious... I have an upgraded radiator, thermoset, IM gasket, etc. Like I said, cooling is not a problem... when a car won't see three bars on the stock water temp gauge, cooling is not a problem... this is the case with several members with just a thermoset and radiator cap...

On a more notable side, I did speak with some other members who are quite knowledgeable, and cylinder ovaling would be an issue over a substantial amount of time, so I'm not thinking I'm going to move forward with this project... If anyone shows any interest, I still have a block I can let them use provided the parties are willing to pick up the shipping charges... I may build it in the near future, or just say screw it and rip apart my spoon bottom end since noone wants to buy it...

That's the precise reason I wouldn't even put it in any engine unless I NEED to!

well, I'm not looking to sleeve for a while, and this was just a temp item... I'm not driving the car very often right now... the longest drives are usually every other month from here to miami... Eventually I will stroke it and sleeve it, but that's only if someone really doesn't buy my bottom end...
