Default boost creep on pfab mani

Quick run down of my setup

Pfab elt top mount manifold
Borg s200sx FMW
Tial waste gate 38mm
3" down pipe/exhaust

On 93 gas with a 13psi spring in the gate I'm over boosting. Flys past 15psi and will climb if I don't get out of it. I'm told there isn't much I can do about it unless I change manifolds.

When I got tuned I'm pretty sure my manifold was cracked but we hit around 450 at 14-15psi. 600 on e85 22psi.
Well now that the mani is fixed I can't hold boost on pump. I'm told I should be fine on e85. Haven't ran e85 since the mani has been fixed.

Any idea or tips or am I just not going to be able to boost on 93. Everything is working right. My tuner Said the turbo and mani just flow to much air for it to keep up.

Anyone else run into an issue like this?

Mine seems to be fine on e85. I do have the larger 44mm wastegate though.

I had a 44mm tial on that same manifold with a 5858CEA turbo and it held at 10 psi spring pressure until about 7k rpms and within the final 1k on my AP2 it would jump to 13 and hit boost cut.. Saw 427whp on a mustang dyno before that happened.. My tuner is a firm believer that one 44mm isn't enough to properly maintain boost.. I moved on to a Sheepey recently, so hopefully it doesn't creep.

Just a side question but how long after having the ELT did it crack? Mine cracked as well as the downpipe and dumptube SEVERAL times until I got fed up with it and ripped my kit off of the car.. Been NA since just waiting to go E85 and sheepey this time around

I bought it used with a few thousand miles on it. I think it cracked because my exhaust wasn't supported well..now I welded a bracket from the exhaust to the tranny and added a hanger..

My tuner said it should be fine on e85 which is what I planed on running when I built the vacancy way..just did flex for easy storage in the winter and if I'm out of town and can't find e85.

It's probably because of the 38mm WG
If I would have researched more before doing my car I probably would have went with a T4 and 44mm setup. I am sorry lol
A little creep is ok. If it's fine on e85 I wouldn't worry. Just don't do pulls on 93 ya know

That's the plan..it was 80 out last week now mid 30s so I'm waiting on some warmer weather to switch out the fuels.

Yeah dbo I'm not sure how you and James ran it off wastegate. .well u didn't but James did..my new turbo isn't much bigger than the one you guys used... how's the evo?

Bringing a dead thread back to life but I will share my experience as well. I have a newer 6266 ported S cover journal bearing on the ELT manifold and I had a single 44mm wastegate on it. It would build boost until who knows where. We saw well over 30psi on the computer. (I'm on AEM V2). Called pfab. Excellent customer service I will say! Sent the manifold back to them and had a SECOND 44mm wastegate flange added. Mind you I'm running two BRAND NEW 44mm MVR's. Still crept to 24psi after 7000rpm. I have ID2000's on E85 and a 3" Megan catback I didn't say that earlier. Also when I shifted it would completely drop boost and have to build it back up. If you're thinking about getting this manifold, don't. It needs some major tweaks before it can efficiently hold back anything above a 5858.
