Default Boost Solenoid

Question for all you turbo expert. I wired the MAC boost solenoid per instruction with one wire to a switched ignition power source in the fuse box and the other wire to the D16 pin (PW #2) on the AEM EMS. When I put the key on ignition, the boost solenoid clicks away, slow clicking noise can be heard. When I depressed the gas pedal, the clicks go away. My tuner said that this is not normal and showed me on his car that his solenoid does not click on ignition and clicks rapidly when he pulled on his throttle cable. He gave me another boost solenoid to test. So I swapped it out and test it. It clicks the same way as my solenoid. Do I have to adjust something on the EMS or is the wiring instruction wrong? I have double and triple checked the wiring. Thanks for the input.

I set my duty cycle for my solenoid to 0 in most areas of vacuum. It starts to click/operate just before positive pressure.

Can I get a screen shot of the AEM boost solenoid settings? It makes sense to set the duty cycle low under vacuum but still don't understand why it stops clicking when I depress gas pedal. Thanks.

Thanks. I have a version 1 ECM and mine looks a little different than yours. What I am after is your boost control parameters on the left bottom side of screen which got cropped off. Can you shoot a pic of that window in its entirety? Thx again
