Bov replacement on Comptech System
I am still confused, so how do I know if the BOV is working properly on a SC. Every time I let go off the gas pedal it opens up and I hear it release air. Once back on gas it closes.
However it is not open at idle and does not blow off below 3k rpm.
I have Turbosmart.

Wait you need another pump other then the 340lph?? There's no way your maxing out the 340lph.
my oem one always blows out at idle...contact forged motorsports or paxton
That sounds normal to me, It should close every time u get on it or else you'd be leaking. Blowing off below 3k? It should open when you release but whether you hear it blow off is a different story. You need pressure to hear that blow off sound and I don't know if you build enough pressure under 3k to hear it. I would lower the spring tension and check for boost leaks. Have it as loose as possible without boost leaks on max psi. I think this would give you best throttle response.
on my 9psi pulley I don't really hear the stock BOV at light throttle but I can still feel it at idle. Forged told me that they have seen SC'er guys run a spring for there 15psi that turbo guys may use for 30+ psi. but I have no real world testing to say yes or no
The previous owner of my superchager had no issues with the bov. He had an aftercooler setup. I installed the supercharger with a FMIC and the bov started fluttering. When we installed the second bov the problem was solved.
