Broken motor mounts
These are the procedure I'm going to follow tonight in step form.
Again thanks Spoolin for your help!
Hopefully this will solve my rubbing issue.
This honestly needs to be a sticky in the under the hood section!
I am going to start by supporting the motor with a piece of wood on top of my jack and then I am going to remove both mounts.
Then I will follow the below sequence:
1. tighten mount on drivers side (4 bolts)
2. Place engine down on drivers mount
3. Passenger side (4 bolts) plus top nut but don’t fully tighten
4. lower engine onto both mounts
5. tighten top nut on passenger side
6. tighten 4 bolts down on passenger side
7. tighten driver side top nut
Again thanks Spoolin for your help!

I also heard that the innovative mounts place the engine slightly different than the OEM ones? Maybe call innovative to confirm?
maybe the new innovative mounts may help cure your problem then. ask paul (sarek) as i believe he might've mentioned that he has more clearance with his frame and his turbo from switching to the innovative mounts.

Hopefully this sequence that the Helms manual states will set everything in place correctly. Let us know if it works.

However, I'm very certain that you get more clearance from manifold down to mounts with the Innovative, the design is completely different from the OEM mounts.
Sounds like Innovative mounts are the way to go but they're made of steel right? Anyone know what the weight difference is betwen Innovative and stock mounts?
Any aluminum mounts for our cars?
