Arghhh... I thought this kit was dead in the water... Heck yeah! For awhile I was planning on getting a cheap 90-93 miata with a flyin miata kit.........

Not anymore I think i've found a kit worthy putting on the s2k. Unfortunately, i'm moving from johnson city (i.e. reasonable distance from BRP) to birmingham, AL in a short few months (i.e. not enough time to save up 6 thou)

So, am I understanding right that after the beta testing is done they will be able to offer a kit that i myself would be able to install with a their elf piggyback that would already be appropriately tuned and no further need for tuning?

That is the plan. No additional fuel injectors required and their ELF will eventually support VTEC adjustability and I believe some data logging capability via the USB port.

I don't know too much about this stuff except that I like it. Will it pass emissions testing (outside of Cali) when they pull the data from the OBDII?

From the BRPforum.

S2000 Hotside Supercharger

Just to give some referance, here is a dyno from a Vortech with a 9lb pulley, EMS with VTEC at 4900 and larger injectors. The BRP SC basicly destroys it

I should note that this is from an AP1.

Wow, at 4k the roots has a 40whp/60ft-lb of torque advantage, with 6.5 psi. But of course, this is AP2 vs AP1 so, there's going to be a 5-10 whp/ft-lb of torque advantage for the AP2 at any given RPM.
