Their package will enclude their own ELF engine management piggyback unit. It will adjust the VTEC crossover to a more ideal RPM, as well as allow fueling adjustments and I *believe* wideband o2 feedback for autotuning.

Keep in mind this product is still in development and we're seeing every little step in their design process. Therefore, small things like this will pop up, but rest assured these guys know what they are doing, and it will be very well sorted by the time it becomes available. (right guys? )

That torque curve gives me pleasant dreams at night... can't wait to talk my bank account into it...

My only concern is the clutch and diff...

About that bank account...I think there are several hundred S owners out there working out what monthly payments would be . Myself included!
I been working on my monthly payment ever snice they started on the hotside. Seeing that their hotside kit for a maita made over 300rwhp, I don't see why the s2000 cant hit that number at all. I just need to eat cup of noodles for lunch and eat whatever left over for dinner.

I would like to know if this kit can run on 91 octane premium unleaded and by how much it increases fuel consumption under normal driving conditions. I ask cuz some Miata owners I know who run BRP kits can only use 93 octane and up (which is hard to find up here) and just about doubled fuel consumption. I was happy to read that the stock fuel pump suffices as that also has been a required upgrade/issue for my Miata buddies (replacement ones are apparently quite loud and given placement in the Miata, annoying). I might add these guys are extremely happy with BRP service, results and workmanship. (Brant given I am from Montreal, you may know who I am referring to.)

Very interested, grats on the great work you guys are doing!

Hmm...do I really want to stay N/A? Maybe I should go to the local credit union and see what rates are right now? This is a good SC kit.

Don't finance modifications. It's a bad financial move.

Yep, we have a lot of customers in the Montreal area. In fact, about 15 or so of them come down every May for new toys and a trip to Deals Gap.

A couple of the guys in Montreal are running much higher than standard boost, so they probably need 93 octane, but all standard kits are designed to run on 91 octane. And, as long as you can keep your foot out of it, the fuel economy should be nearly as good as it was stock. These types of superchargers only draw about 1/3rd of a HP under cruise and our ELF does not effect off-boost fueling like a rising rate fuel pressure regulator can. Of course, it takes fuel to make power, so if you use the extra power regularly, you can expect your fuel economy to suffer a little. If you are really concerned about it, I suggest you go search in the forced induction section of the Miata forum for

Thanks alot for the quick response Brant. I run into these guys mostly on track days, which ties in to your explanation.

It may well be you'll get a visit from another Montrealer!
