I have a Comptech SC but no aftercooler, but im about to install the Snow Performance water/methnal injection. I was wonder since I got the water injection kit, does that serve the same purpose of the aftercooler? Same HPs? Thank!!

 

Both serve to cool charge, but WI will go much further than the AC.

Just keep in mind that with an SC we're not talking huge amounts of boost and hence not huge amounts of heat so be sparing with the WI. Remember, plenty of Comptechs are getting around with no charge cooling at all.

You may at some stage choose to up boost and tune with the WI in mind. This is fine, but don't run out of water or you'll be running an unsafe tune. That's why AC/IC cooling is my preference.
