Default Can yo uover torque the compressor housing

I am having a weird new sound after reinstalling the turbo manifold bolts. It starts to whine around 3500 and also does it when I turn left. I can't figure it out and am wondering if I may have over torqued the compressor housing and the compressor is rubbing it periodically?? It doesn't seem to have any power loss and is boosting just fine. I haven't really been able to tell if it is still spooling as quickly. Anyone have experience with this? I did some searches and couldn't find very much relevant informaiton. Its an sc61 with .63ar housing and .60 compressor. I did have to dock it slightly after putting it back on due to charge pipe issues.

Do you mean 'clock'? As in turn it a bit?

The only issue you could have with a compressor housing would be it hitting the turbine and this should be easily seen if you remove the intake pipe and possibly the compressor housing.

The turn left thing is what makes me think it's something all together different.

I removed the intake pipe and looked at all of the fins and they are in perfect condition and the wheel spins freely. I drove it to work today and it seems to be running fine besides the gurgling sound. I checked the plugs and they are fine everything is still pretty tight. The car actually stalled once on me today while moving and I just put it into the proper gear and it fired right back up. I didn't even notice until I was letting the clutch out and the oil light and other "I just shut off" indicator lights were lit and then went away when I put it into gear. I'm stumped. I will change the oil tomorrow as I am running like a 50/50 blend of 20w50 and 10w30. Which can't be good but I just wanted to see if it was fixed. I will go to a 10w40 tomorrow. Anything else I should look at let me know.

Ok. Its a grinding sound but only under acceleration past 3000rpms or so. Sounds like its coming from the passenger side under the footwell area. I don't know what it could be. I loosened the bolts on the housing and everything is still tight. It still makes good power, but seems like its being held back by whatever the grinding noise is.???

Man, why are we having these ridiculous problems

BTW, I think I'm going to get a GT3076 and rebuild/sell the T04r that I have, but we'll see.
