Clevite rod bearings?
I know Laskey does not use these Clevite bearings, but I will confirm it...
Just FYI, I spoke to Mike @ Laskey Racing...and they ONLY have ever used ACL race or OEM bearings. So whomever you bought your motor from used rebuilt it or had it rebuilt by used Clevite. The motor may have previously have been built by Laskey at one time, but your current build is obviously not.

Yeah i know laskey doesnt use clevite. Clevite makes a excellent bearing import or domestic. What caused your bearing failure was the water mixed in the oil. It will kill bearings very fast depending on how much water was in there.
Make sure you have everything checked before it goes back together because many times when this happens people never get their motor back together properly. Take the extra time and money to get it done right. Have you thought about sending it back to laskey for Mike to look it over and put it together for you? Might be worth your money considering you had misinformation from a different machine shop once already.

Yes I agree, and I should have mentioned that too. There is NOTHING wrong with Clevite bearings.
Also, your head COULD have been straight before it went on the car, but how the head was torqued could have caused the warpage.
If you have water in your oil, your oil pressure will be low enough to cause the light to come one if the bearing is toast.
How much boost was the car running and how was the car tuned is the next question you should be asking. Heads don't typically just lift with out a good reason.
Post some details on the exact components of your engine's internals and also the boost set up.
