Default Gears w/ SC

Hi all,
I have researched this and it seems like 4.56 would be the way to go if I wanted to swap my gears as 4.77 seemed to have some reliability issues with a SC/TC. I'm doing the SoS ACed SC. I'll likely upgrade that for more boost at some point in the future...doing the base bolt on for now.

Is Hard Top Guy where I can get these? About how much did it cost you to install?
Thanks much!

I saw some posts back in 2008 that seemed to suggest 4.77s had to be replaced a couple of times at least. Maybe it was his driving. If no big deal, then great!

the thing about 4.77s is you are going to be shifting alot, NA.

if you are boosted AND have 4.77s, you are going to shifting even more.

Are you saying you can actually manage to do that?

I end up at or near WOT at least once each way on my 9 mile commute.

Can't help it.
I never said how often I do that, lol.
