After talking to a few friends and one being a tuner I've decided to try out the competition clutch stage 3 and see how long it lasts. He says that it rated to hold 500+ wtq but I don't trust that. I should be fine tho since I'll be well below that anyway. If it burns up too fast then I'll just have to go to a puck clutck instead. Wish me luck I'm ordering mine this weekend.

i would talk to inlinepro first. they stopped selling the stage 3's i believe. i cant remember exactly, but call them to find out what they say. not too mention, CC has 2 stage 3 clutches listed, one disc and one 6 puck. i would steer clear of both with the power your doing. 4 puck competition clutch + comp clutch light flywheel would be my reccomendation.

I would think the 6 puck stage 4 CC clutch would work well instead of having to go down to the 4 puck

Well I know I will be around 500whp and somewhere around 350-400wtq (estimates 20psi) so I need to find a clutch that will hold and isn't going to take Andre the giants leg to push in. I want something that is more streetable than most 6 pucks but something that is going to hold 500+ to the wheels.

well all of CC kits use the same pressure plate, they just change the pad material, so you can basically expect the pedal to be pretty close to stock, the only other thing you have to look at is which puck you want to run, I completely understand your desire for a full face disk for stock like driveablility

i mention my opinion after my buddy talked to inlinepro and they found the 6 puck to be crap. my buddy actually had a 4 puck CC in his car with CC lightweight flywheel and the drawback was revvin to 2500rpm to start from a stop. otherwise, he didnt find it that big a deal. below 2500 and yes, it would chatter.

Well I'll try the CC disk and see how it holds. If it burns up or slips too much then I'll just send it back and get a different one.

In my opinion, if you are looking for something economical do the Competition Clutch Stage 4 or 5. But if you are looking for a REALLY nice & perfect feel clutch, you have to go with the Carbonetic Twin Carbon Clutch. I've had mine for about 8,000 miles & I absolutetly LOVE IT!
