stay away from competition clutches (stage 4 and 5). i Hated my stage 4. it was the only thing about my car that made me not want to drive it. I dont care what everyone says... Its HARD to get used to and it will piss you off every once in awhile. and Down-shifting is horrible with it... its either match-rev or chirp the tires, but its only a matter of time until something breaks with that clutch also. it causes extra strain to the diff and tranny. 6 puck is great for "Holding power" but not great for driving around all day. traffic sucked too with it

even over 600hp i barely had more then 400lbs of torque. If your in the 400-500 range just get a ACT clutch. Stage 1 would be just fine. even puddymod recommended me to get a CC stage 2 or 3 and it would have gripped just fine and the clutch engagement would have been much better

good and cheap dont really exist, but I would stay away from ACT, go CC, they are relatively "inexpensive"

I just read of another F/I guy who had an ACT, now 1,000 miles later = Crankwalk
I have had the full ACT HDSS setup on my car for probably 7-8k miles now and I have ZERO problems

I've got a Clutchmaster's stage 3 clutch. I really love it. I find the engagement to be quite smooth though effort is increased over stock.

I have the ACT HD full setup and its holding up good so far. Dunno how much longer it will last but we'll see.

When its time for another one, I'll look in the SOS kits. Their description of the stage 1 or whatever its called (the one not made out of carbon lol) makes it sound perfect for my goals.

Don't let your SO drive your car when its boosted. Girls can't drive. And I mean that in the most sexist way possible.

If my girl doesnt like how I drive or how my car rides, she can walk! She doesnt know how to drive stick and im not teaching her either!!

If you could see the way she parks or curbs her own wheels, you would see why I dont want her driving my S.

Same here... I wonder if there were more factors that are not being brought to our attention about the crank walk issues. I have ran the ACT PP as well for lover 80K+ miles and havnt had any crank walk yet...
