It seems by us banning him he's decided to start to respond. He's sent me a few emails about it.

I was really hoping to hear Wadzii apologize, refunded the money and move on with good business. I really wanted to believe there were a few honest re-builders for this platform.

This sucks, but it's good to see the Admin team protecting it's users and dishing out repercussions for bad business decisions.

Sucks that this is what it amounted to.

You had to ban him from a website to get him to talk to anyone

What does "this" accomplish?

To be a full on member of this site you have to pay. Pay to get access to the classifieds, pay to become a vendor. What protection does this payment afford? I thought that was the reason behind making members pay to protect people.

CNC Speedshop and WADZII were paid member/vendor on this site, what protection did any of the vendor/member payment afford? The OP is still out time, parts and money. Not only that, but the OP is out his S2ki "protection" money as the OP has "member" status. The only recourse that the forum had was to ban the member/vendor (CNC / Wadzii)?

I'll point out that there was no protection for the user and there was no repercussions to CNC Speedshop. Big deal, he got banned from this forum, it's not like there aren't other Honda / S2000 forums out there. This forum represents, what, a fraction of all S2000 owners? What damage did the loss of this site really accomplish? His business likely will not be affected. CNC/Wadzii now out their vendor/member fee's. Bull$hit like this does not happen on other forums that I am a member of, and they are free with no fee's.

Also, now that CNC has been banned, do you now ban URGE, KING's, ETC? There are a handful of other builds out there where owners are out a similar or greater amount of money and time. It's great that these companies are coming out with new products, like Urge, but there was also some crappy dealings that were never taken care of.

This sort of situation has occurred multiple times with Kings. Be nice to see those tools get banned rather them let them continue to post about their cars funded on stolen money.

You're relatively new here, so your views are possibly different from the "older" members. S2KI used to be a private site, solely funded by paid memberships and vendors/sponsors of the forum. People paid to be here to support the community (the best S2000 community on the internet) but the mindset has changed in recent years.
Internet Brands bought the site from the previous owners a couple years ago, but the premise of the site remains the same, we do what we can to protect our members. There are never any guarantees when buying/selling on any forum, this one is no different, but we help wherever we can. Some vendors/people are out to scam people from the get-go, by having members pay to sell, we have certain information about these people, so if/when they do scam someone we can forward that information to the parties/people that need it in order to rectify the situation, it also protects our community. We can also flag that information for when/if they try to come back and do it again, you'd be surprised how many people try to do this. This isn't about money, this is about protecting our members and our community.

In regards to vendors there tends to be far less problems, and when there is a problem it is either sorted out or they are banned. It may or may not help get the money back, but it does prevent them from doing it to anyone else.

You've made this about the money and the fees members and/or vendors pay in order to sell here only, there's a lot more to it than that. Sure, there are free sites out there, let me know how much support you get from them when something goes south for you. I'm here for the community and the members (guests too) and I'll do whatever I can to help and protect them.
