CNC Speedshop built engine
Damn! Jason has a good reputation on here , BUT these are some REALLY SHADY acts by CNC. These shops (Endyne, Kings, CNC) are making it hard for us to trust them. Especially with CNC having a pretty stout rear diff and transmission solution in the works.
It seems like Inlinepro is the only way to go when it comes to having our engines built PROPERLY. I feel bad for the OP due to the fact that he can't drive down to NC.
The only way to get rid of these scammer shops is to boycott the ones who F*** people on here no matter if International or Domestic. We need to support our s2k community by supporting the shops that do it the right way.
Wow I'm not sure why everyone automatically thinks cnc is a bad shop because of the incident. Yes they screwed up, I bet every business in the world has at some point. From what I can see they even offered to fly out to the original posters place of residence in another country mind you to fix it with the correct parts I am assuming. If I had the same issue with them with my motor (mind you I do have a cnc motor) and they offered to fly to my house to tear it down and fix the issues I would jump on that on a heartbeat. That's pretty good customer service to me I don't think a lot of businesses would offer that. It's always gets tricky when a third party shop or person starts ripping stuff apart you never know what's been compromised in the process. sorry to the original poster that you have to go through this but I think I would I would had then fly out and at least fix the issue first.Again my motor is still in the process of being installed and I have no doubt in my mind of something goes south they will be here to help me and fix it. If for some reason they don't you will here my side of the story as well but I don't foresee that happening
In their defense I have not heard of one stoker kit complaint or rear diff issue. It sounds like Jason himself does excellent work, but his minions he employed can't be trusted. If it was my shop and my reputation I would double check everyone's work before it left the shop, especially a small business. I also don't buy the horse sh#% that people are to busy to give updates on your motor build...seriously in this day and age of instant messaging and cell phones a few pics of the parts going in and progress would take what, a few minutes? Yeah they screwed up and I'm sure Jason would have fixed the issue with a plane ride but the OP did compound the problem by suddenly selling his car and not needing a motor.
We as a community need shops like CNC for some of the good work and ideas they have brought to the table. Yeah they screwed up but kudos to them for at least admitting the problem.
Hopefully things will get worked out somehow.

8500$ for a stock sleeve engine build and they put the wrong parts in it?!?!?!
Just saw the parts list, still an expensive build for what went into it. And the mistake was on CNC from the beginning, so why does the customer have to pay a restocking fee or even the return shipping?
