Ok, if someone can link me to a thread on this and kill mine, that's ok with me. I have the same issue that many, many Comptech S/C owners have experienced. The carbon fiber top to my intake box is rubbing at multiple points on my hood. I'm dressing up the goodies under the hood, and this is turning into one h*ll of a sore spot for me. How can this be prevented? Cut the insulation? Help!!

 

One member actually cut the air box. He cut a section out which lowered the box cover by 1/4 to 1/2 inch.

Same issue here. Mine is so scratched up that I will have to order a new one.

 

The other option is to pad the hood where is rest on the lid.
