Thumbs up Comptech Supercharger

Hi team, I recently had a comptech supercharger installed and the car is running great. However, I've been noticing a strong fuel odder while driving and when the car has been sitting in my garage for 2 or 3 days. Any suggestions what it could be?

Thanks, Mike

Sounds like a leak to me. I'd have the folks that installed it check the fuel pump and fuel line connections. Soon.

Mine smells like that also, and I can assure you there is no leak in the system anywhere. I think its just fuel that I spilt that is stilll in the engine bay or on my garage floor

I've never noticed gas smell in the garage or when driving. Maybe I just don't notice it.

This is a known problem with the SC kit from CT. The fuel line from the regulator is defective and needs to be replaced. There is a number of old thread on this topic (4+ years old). But if you just replace the fuel line your problem will be fixed.

Thanks Stratocaster, I will replace the fuel line ASAP. Any recommended fuel line to use?

Aeroquip or Earl's braided line and hose ends. Use hose ends from the same manufacturer the hose is from.
