Comptech Supercharger FPR line Problems
Was on a group drive today and started to smell gas so I took a look under the hood and found that the high pressure line from the fuel rail to the FPR had failed and was leaking bad on the FPR side.
Has anyone else had a problem with this hose. The hose comes out facing the back of the car and goes down under the brake booster and back up to the fuel rail (does that sound right), it's at that 90 down at the FPR that it failed not sure if it was the bend down that caused it to fail. Is their to much pressure in that line for just normal fuel line and screw clamps?

The beautiful braided fuel line supplied by Comptech is a POS. It actually seeps fuel through the rubber and braid. Modifry confirmed this by putting flourescent die in his fuel and using an ultraviolet light.
But your problem sounds more drastic. I also had a leak where the line meets the FPR. It was caused by twisting the red Al collar on the line. I would recommend you diassemble the connection at the FPR and rebuild it. Make sure the blue AL fitting is firmly pushed into the hose and then tighten up the red collar. Then reconnect to FPR and test for leaks (just turn on ignition so fuel pump starts up).
Or better still, replace that crappy line. That's what I am doing.
