Default converting to a return style fuel system!

so i have some concerns and am wondering how things will work out with fuel lines, rails, etc...

so i have the ap2 Full-blown dual hanger, and plan on getting 2 aeromotive 340's..... thats the simple part

i have been thinking about just running a -10 line for the fuel feed to the rail and using the stock feed line as my return line with the correct adapters. the stock line is about the same as a -6 line and even tho -8 is more commonly used, i dont see why the -6 return shouldnt be good enough. anyone disagree??? im goin for somewhere between 600-700hp, not greedy so reliability is primary concern.

i know i will have to upgrade my id1000's to reach 700hp, but i am thinking of trying to squeak out 600hp on c16 with this setup, feasible?

i will be installed a ap1 fuel rail and regulator. are the rail mounting points the same for all s2k's? will i need to get ap1 injectors and the rail cause my 06-08 injectors useless???

Sorry for the random brainstorm but its all i can think about at work so any input would be great!!! thank you

So that 700hp goal is on c16 only? Do you plan on running 2 lines to the rail, 1 for each pump? Or just join them inline?
definitely get an aftermarket pressure regulator. And run at least 14 gauge pwr and gnd wires for each pump to ensure they get full voltage
In my opinion, stock fuel line as a return line should have enough flow, but I would convert to AN lines anyway since they're stronger and your gonna have it all apart anyway.

Using the stock feed as your new return will work just fine You could probably get away with a -8 AN feed if you're going to run gas only.

i will run one line for the feed to the rail. and for the gas i want to run c16 on the 1000cc injectors to see what i can squeeze out of them then when funds permit i will run q16 or c85 on huge injectors to really push the stock motor.

how much power on c16 do you think the id1000's with a fuel system on steroids will make?

About 630-650whp from what I have seen on the same setup. I am in a similar situation and I am going with the sos return kit and walbro 416 pump then upgrading all wiring. Battery to relay and pump wiring.

Assuming you are using Flashpro, I haven't been able to get my EVAP system "Ready" for emissions with my return system. FWIW.

What return setup are you running? I have an 06 with flashpro. I don't want any evap issues.
