Ctsc basic setup question
Not home to mesure the pulley but i have this pic on my phone. The pulley is pretty much the same size as the oem. I will mesure it tomorow.

And OMG !!!! 90psi of fuel pressure ??? Really !!! the guy at CT is throwing me way of course !!! Like you said sos and comptech are the same so it should be the same pressure.
Oh i almost forgot ... All my fuel pressure reading have been done with the vacum line pluged. From what you said they should not ???? Please clarify i feel noob now
Thanks again all.
When the problem gets solved i will have to pay you guys a beer.
Any chance you guys are in Montreal
Lol

Who did you talk to at CT? I only talk to Nate. He's been there forever.
And I think they were asking for pictures of your supercharger pulley, not your crank pulley. The one connected to the back of your blower.

...and 60/90psi with vac line connected to rrfpr. 60ish idle. 90psi WOT/redline as mentioned. Need to set up a remote line into the cab and go WOT to verify your fp is rising to proper levels.
Per SOS' 6 psi kit, the AP1 fuel pressure with intake manifold at atmosphere pressure (let the car idle and remove vacuum hose from fuel regulator) is 50 PSI. This is simply a baseline. So if you have other mods like a test pipe, it will need to be higher as your car would run leaner or too lean otherwise. The AP2 spec is 58 psi. Again, this is a baseline and measured with the vacuum hose from the RRFPR disconnected while idling. With the hose connected, it will read a lot lower than when disconnected.
At 6 psi or generally engine redline, the fuel pressure is ~75 psi for the AP1 and ~88 psi for the AP2. This is obviously read with the vacuum hose connected.
For what it's worth, I have the fuel pressure on my SOS/6 psi kit on my AP2 set to around ~70 psi if I recall correctly. This is at idle with the vacuum line disconnected. I also have a test pipe and bored out throttle body and my AFRs are usually 11.x to low 12s.
My wife is from Montreal, and I was just there this past Summer.

Yep and as soon as you remove even just the cat, those settings go out the window, following CT or SOS recommendations puts most of us in dangerously lean category. Basically, don't follow it, use it as a rough guide with the expectation just mentioned.
From idle fuel pressure to 9k at max boost, you should see it rise approximately 30psi.

Precious info !!!! Obvioulsy my reading are of. My contact at CT is Chris.
The last reading i took was from inside the cab ... Well thru the window. Look at that gheto setup ... You gotta love it

Obviously not good if it rains !! Lol
So today on my way back home i will get that 340 aeromotive fuel sucker but its the girlfriend birthday so you can imagine i wont put it in before tomorow
I will keep you posted

Ok good day with f@#ked up anwser from CT
Lets start with the good. Fue pump as been change for a brand new aeromotive 340 and i was able to crank the fuel pressure to 60 psi at idle and over 95 psi at 9k going up gradually. The rrfpr is 4 tread from being max out tho ??? Im able to it flat 13 in afr in vtec. I didn mess around to much with the adjustment as i am going to check on the dyno this week.
I checked and my pulley is 4,5 inch
The weird part now. Chris from CT answered my today and he sticks with is 40 psi idle and 60 psi on boost. Saying that i need to run an aftermaket unit to tune like f/ic , gemu , or theire acm.
So i responded that i eared here that 60 idle an 90 boost is want people seems to run and he says they could run what ever they want but i wouldnt recomend this kind of pressure.
I also told im that this kit is sold this way and suposed to run with the oem ecu. And again i says they used to sell it this way but now it only come with there acm cause people (like me) are having problems with running lean.
So thats that for now
