Default Custom pulley shop?

Turned over a pulley to a local shop, and about 7 months later (I gave them more time once car went into winter storage) they now tell me they lost the cad drawings and want a pulley to measure to start from scratch.

Since this was an SOT kit, there are no off the shelf pulleys and they used their own mounting system, I need to use mine to make a new one in a larger size. I am looking for somebody reliable and fairly fast (a few weeks is fine, months no)that I could send it too.

It seems like easy work but no machine shop around here will take small jobs, they only want big orders of thousands of dollars or they won't do it.

Kinda stuck. Any recommendations are helpful. I thought about taking it to the local community college next door to my work to see if one of their machinist instructors is looking for student projects.

We use quickparts.com for a lot of one-off prototypes at work. They're not super cheap (I would just call them competitive) and you need to supply your own CAD models, but their turnaround time is typically ~1 week. They do everything from SLA to sheet metal, so a CNC lathed piece shouldn't be a problem for them.

ASP. I had a few custom crank & blower pulleys made. Prices are very reasonable and they do make 1-offs.

Don't need to. Send your existing pulley to ASP and tell them what you need. They'll 'reverse engineer' it to any size.

Sorry, I guess I assumed you had access to Solidworks or something similar.. ^^^That sounds like the way to go then.

For ASP. The pulley came back and looks real good. Was not to long of a wait either. They holes to mount were perfect and if fit right on with no hassle. Thanks for the recommendations.
