Yup x2 for cc/ minute.

Most measuring cups have milliliters and 1ml=1cc

There are lots of guys looking at this thread (1300 views in 8 days!) and already considering/planning out their meth injection routes (as I am). I already have my AEM installed (not tuned yet) and might already change the setup! Thanks again for sharing!

Do you already have a tune date scheduled? Who is tuning it?

P.S. Also kudos to EternalLx! I became a believer after your dyno, especially with Jeff Evans blessed approval.

Yea, I've noticed the thread views myself.

I think it's good information, and it's not really that hard to do, just take your time and it's within anyone's grasp if your willing to work on your own car.

I historically try to have the car out and on the road no later than May 1st. Usually my tune date is sometime in April, typically toward the end of the month.

This weekend I am going to test the system again, and bolt up the IM and connect all my sensors/etc.

Then work on the wiring/etc for the rest of my meth kit/gauge/etc.

Then onto manifold and turbo stuff.

Corey Parrish from SlowmotionMotorsports.com will be tackling this again for me.

For a direct port methanol setup, a solenoid should be used, but should one solenoid be used for every port, or can a solenoid be placed before the 4-way split?

meth + race gas kind of defeats the purpose

I gained 40 hp adding meth to my c16 tune on my old setup for the record by dropping my IAT's.

Then it wasnt tuned right on c16 or you were using the meth inj to add fuel not just suppress detonation. Using a single nozzle meth inj kit to add fuel is never a terrible idea.

On most cars switching from gas to methanol will gain around 15-20% power

your intake temps did not drop enough to gain you 40hp, thats not going to happen. It would take a 100deg temp drop to do that.. Rule of thumb is 1% power gain for 10deg drop in temp, on a 400hp car a 40hp gain will take 100deg drop. Meth will not do that. I dont know of anything that will get those kind of results

the only reason you see the temp on the ait sensor drop is b/c of the meth evaporating off the sensor, the amount of heat in the system stays the same, its just that the meth is hot, not the sensor.
