For a direct port methanol setup, a solenoid should be used, but should one solenoid be used for every port, or can a solenoid be placed before the 4-way split?
A solenoid is best, b/c it doesn't detract from the overall performance of the kit. Meaning you don't loose pressure off the pump for the cracking pressure of the checkvalves.

However, to do it correctly with a solenoid, you need to have one AFTER the block and before EACH injector/nozzle. Otherwise, you could use a single checkvalve before the distro. block.

This is cost prohibitive for most people, I am using 1 checkvalve before the distro block. I kept the lines short, and mounted the block on my intake manifold, I am going to see if this causes me any problems. If it does, I'll adapt, but I'm curious how "bad" it will be.

you have an amazing amount of patience my friend. i cant wit for video of your car absolutely raping. are you going to do a tune on and off meth like in the past?
Eh, I've learned my lesson in the past. Rush something and it takes twice as long in the end.

I'm just an average guy, learning like everyone else. Trying to give back what I've learned to help the next guy coming down the same path like others have done for me.

My last tune was all methanol. It cracked when the w/g opened and hit full spray up top.

I think w/the direct setup, I will have more control and with the updated controller and be able to dial it in more exactly.

How do you figure? Meth is only a small % of the combustion mixture, take the 93 and replace it with Q16, you are going to be better off..............

I would think anyway?

Well I was able to add more timing without getting knock and I was at 75% injector duty cycle at 11.5-12:1 air/fuel with my IAT's falling from 160 to ~105 if I remember correctly.

You could keep the lines short by using 3 Tees instead of a 4 port block. Tho that cant really be a "clean" install

Clean? Have you seen my engine bay? They don't call me Junky for nothin

Its something to consider, definitely cheaper. If you mount the block on the manifold vs fire wall though do you think the T's would still be an improvement? Share what your thinking?

With the right Tees and positioning I think your solenoid idea will work better. the block holds a good amount of meth for it to be siphoned in.
