As far as fuel system changes, I'd definitely hardwire your injectors in and ditch the PNP clips. Changing to a return style fuel system may be a better option as well. The return less fuel systems seem to be too finicky and limited to their capabilities.
This is my plan. I'm going to hardwire the injectors and move to a return style fuel system.

I also want to switch to a better EMS option that has failsafes built in ala haltech but it seems my options for a DBW car are extremely limited.

Dont forget to wire the pump as well. Im shocked this wasn't recommerecommended original builders. Im glad Jeremy had an idea of the root cause.

Yeah that is quite a surprise

Good ideas. Haltech should have you covered with their Elite 1500 or the stepped up 2500. Both can run DBW. AEM Series 2 6053 units are for DBW and have failsafes onboard like O2 kill limit/lean-out protection, knock 1 and 2 control, etc. The Infinity should have those and more onboard.

Go Link G4X. Fits in stock ECU housing; it's a great ECU and can also do DBW.

Picked up the rebuilt motor from Jeremy Allen today. Now with 10.5:1 pistons, fully sleeved, cylinder head repaired, etc. She's looking pretty!

I should have a decent amount of time this weekend to start assembling it back together before going back in the car. I also plan on going to a full SOS return fuel system before the car goes back on the road again, as well as a few other odds/ends. I really hope this one lasts!

Engine is looking amazing! And I don't believe you'll have any issues going forward knowing that Jeremy built it.

If I could make one suggestion - don't bother with the SOS return kit. The stock fuel return line is just too damn small; I don't care what anyone says.

I actually ended up getting the fuel line holders from an 06-09 like on your car; they're PERFECT for a PTFE -8 feed and a -6 return....like, too perfect. Save yourself some money, and have a better fuel system at the same time. Win/win. Check it out:

Very cool! I hate to ask this but can you send or PM me a parts list and a general how-to on this?

I know the SOS kit is overpriced but it’s also a complete diy kit with clear instructions, which I appreciate.

I’m an amateur when it comes to fuel systems outside of fuel pump changes or injectors, but I’ve assembled engines, installed FI, etc so I know I’m capable of this, just need some guidance.

I would greatly appreciate you sharing your specific setup parts list!

Thanks in advance!

After doing some research, am I correct in thinking I just need a radium fuel rail, AP1 fuel pump hanger aero motive FPR, and the fuel lines?

I’ll need some sort of adapters to connect the fuel lines to the oem pump hanger.

I’ve never done this before so I’m not clear on exactly how I connect the aftermarket fuel lines to the fuel rail/regulator? And in what sequence.

Also I need to figure out if the radium fuel rail for 06 is built for a return or return less system, and then make a decision on getting the return version and then getting the 05 and below ID injectors.

9592235959, text me, I'll help ya out.

Since you're 06+ you can run the Radium 06+ rail with their DMR FPR; I actually used that on my 00-05 intake manifold cuz it looked cleaner.
