Yeah I plan to check it for sure. I would have to drive somewhere to have it checked on a dyno though. So it would be a little dangerous driving it there too. Towing is super expensive I know.

Also, how would it cost me 5 grand for this sc to get going? It costs $2400 shipped. I don't think anything else will add up to $2600. Unless I blow my engine or something. No way a clutch will cost anywhere near there. And I doubt I will have to get one immediately. Or at least I hope I don't have to.
The only thing I have left to be nervous about really, is getting scammed. Wish there was someone that could check the kit out in person or something. Everything seems good to me, but you never know.

$2600 + dyno + (if you decide to get it tuned) $600 greddy emu+ $200-400 for tune. Also If you get a new clutch which you will need one probably within a few months costs about $1000 for parts and another 400-600 for install. Go to billman he'll do it right

$1000 for parts? Where do you get that? i have seen the ACT ones for like under $600. Dyno I think would only be like $50 to check the afr's. And would not be going with any tuning for a while at least. Would not need to untill I went above a 7 psi pulley.
So at first would be like $2400 + $100 to buy a fuel pump+install(free will do it myself) plus $50 to check the afr's. Give another $50 in case I need some nuts and bolts.
minues $180 for my FIPK I can sell, -$200? for my vafc with plug and play harness. Minues $100 maybe selling the 9 psi pulley it comes with and the extra belt. That leaves me at like $2,120. Add a clutch down the line. Wouldn't do it right away so figure another $1000 down the road for clutch and install. Wouldn't think install would be more than $400 but maybe I am wrong.

Don't know if that is not the correct one or something. Never seen an ACT clutch go for $1000. That has to be with an extremely expensive flywheel.

ACT flywheel

Theres a flywheel on ebay as well. So would be closer to $1000 but still a couple hundred under. I do not feel a need to go with a lighter flywheel however.

This post shows you are clearly new to FI cars. The fact is, shit ALWAYS happens. You always get the "oops, this went," "oops, I need a new one of this," blah blah blah. Hell, a wideband gauge is $300. If you do your clutch, you're going to want to change the flywheel, so it's $1000 for parts alone, and about $500 or so to install it. If all you have is $2500 to play with, I wouldn't go near FI. I also wouldn't feel comfortable spending that kind of cake if you are unsure of the seller.

I am familiar with turbo car's as I have a fully built eclipse turbo.
With a sc you don't NEED a wideband. Would be nice to have but not mandatory if you get your afr's checked out.
I am sure I can get an oem flywheel for much less than $500 so parts wise it would not be $1000 for a clutch. Maybe like $700 with a flywheel or something.
Also from many people on here with sc's it doesn't seem to be that parts are always breaking on their car. I don't think I will need to change the clutch right away with a 5 psi comtech kit. Maybe I will be wrong but I doubt it.
Many many people on here have listed that they have really replaced nothing with the sc kits.
Don't really see what else I would be missing. I know stuff can happen, but if it is done right, don't see why it would.
If I am sounding like I am lashing back I am not lol. Just a little confused why everyone keeps saying things are gonna break without really any back up. And also don't see how it will go from like $2100 after I sell a couple things to $5000!!
